Dancer's Dream conducts a ribbon-cutting ceremony

Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and members of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce were on hand Aug. 17 to help owner Penny Anderson conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Dancer's Dream, 322 W. State St., Geneva. Dr. Manjari Malkani


Doctor joins Rheumatology office at Dreyer Medical Clinic
Doctor Manjari Malkani recently joined the Reheumatology Department at the Dreyer Medical Clinic. Malkani completed her residency at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2004. She sees patients at the clinic's Highland location. She has hospital privileges at Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.


Sheriff to host annual car show
Kane County Sheriff Pat Perez will host his sixth annual Charity Car and Motorcycle Show from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 1 at the Martin Family Farm, 2S111 Green Road, Elburn. The show will include stock cars, muscle cars and emergency vehicles. The show also will include a disc jockey, food, prizes and other attractions. Spectator admission to the show is $5 per car. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. In the event of rain, the show will be conducted Sept. 2. For more information about the show, call Dawn at 630-208-2003.
